The magic of the Barbados Cruising Club
The sun slowly setting over Carlisle Bay. A DJ playing your favourite songs. People liming on the beach. Children taking their first sailing lessons or playing in the gentle waves. Peacefully paddling away on a kayak or stand-up paddle board to explore the bay and spot a sea turtle or two. A birthday party for a child, under the colourful umbrellas on the beach. Tasty cocktails with good friends at Skipper’s or relaxing on Friday after a long week of work.

Barbados Sailing Week 2025
Get Inspired at the Barbados Sailing Week
We will host Barbados Sailing Week at the Cruising Club in 2025. The racing program runs from Saturday, January 11th, to Wednesday, January 23rd, 2025. It will be accompanied by a whole week of social events. For the full program click here.

Saturday Jan 11th and Sunday Jan 12th 2025 (1 pm- 5 pm)
Junior Dinghy Races at the Barbados Yacht Club (Sat) and the Barbados Cruising Club (Sun)

Coastal Sailing Offshore Races/Sailing Week Experience at the Richard Haynes Boardwalk /Blakey’s (noon to 4 pm)
Kitesurfing Freestyle Competition, Long Beach (8 am to 4 pm)
Sunday Jan 19th 2025
Coastal Sailing Offshore Races at the Carlisle Bay (9 am - 2 pm)
Wingfoiling Competition at Welches Beach, Oistins (8 am to 4 pm)
Tuesday Jan 21st 2025
The Mount Gay Round Barbados Race, Many viewpoints around the island (8 am to 5 pm)
The Mount Gay Red Hat Party with Marzville and DJ Indian at the Barbados Cruising Club (5 pm to midnight).

Skipper’s on the Beach – Open to everyone
Our Bar-Restaurant is now open for members and non-members 7 days a week. Drink and dine at Skipper’s and enjoy one of the most unique views of Barbados.
Skipper’s Opening Hours
Monday to Sunday from noon to 10 PM
Daily Mount Gay Happy Hour 5 pm-7 pm, Banks and Deputy BB$3.5 and Mount Gay Eclipse and Silver Rum with mixer BB$4.
Friday Sunset Lime with live music by Jacob Layson
